Rickie “Rick” Douglas, age 69, of Mooresville, NC and formerly of Graves County, died at 6:00 PM Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Rick was a retired test engineer from Ingersoll Rand Company.

Survivors include his wife – Carolyn Mills Douglas of Mooresville, NC; daughter – Penny Bowman of Mayfield, KY; granddaughter – Kelsey Bowman of Mayfield, KY; five sisters – Rachael (Don) Cox of Wingo, KY, Betty Barnes of Mayfield, KY, Nancy Dick of Houston, TX, Linda Douglas and Janet Dunlap both of Knoxville, TN; and a brother – Lee Douglas of Murfreesboro, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents – Ira & Gertie Thomas Douglas; a son – Stevie Scott; two brothers – Lanie Douglas and Tex Douglas and a sister – Faye Mitchum.

Funeral services for Rick will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY with Rev. C.W. Jackson officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be; David Mills, Robert Douglas, Eric Douglas, Glen Bowman, Ricky Cole and Chris Lindsey. Burial will follow in the Mayfield Memory Gardens. Friends are invited to call after 5:00 PM on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
